Project Partners

In 2015, Dr. Kelly Kindscher, Senior Scientist, Kansas Biological Survey and Professor, Environmental Studies​, and the Director of the Center for Sustainability, Jeff Severin, began actively working on the restoration project with support from the KU community. Since then, the Center for Sustainability has worked with several groups who support the restoration project. Those groups include; the KU Environmental Studies Program, and the Kansas Biological Survey.
